New shop opening soon in Sanford.

Postby twinisin » Sat May 22, 2010 8:37 pm

The owner is a friend of mine and he's relocating his shop. We're talking about allowing TOJC use the lifts, compresors, and machines every other Saturday for free. He fabricates a lot of his stuff for his trucks and he wants to start doing jeeps, especialy crawlers. He's got a full shop of machines for fabricating. This may happen within next 30 days. We're working out details as we speak but he is thinking about hosting a BBQ for TOJC just as a way of saying "you guys are welcome here anytime". He specificly wants to deal with TOJC because of our reputation and having so much equipment, he doesn't want to have stuff abused or stolen by just any Joe Shmoe with a jeep. He likes what we do with our club.

This sounds great, Choptop will fit in there for sure. Let your friend know we do appreciate his offer and LOVE BBQ.

It's on. Steve spoke with the city of Sanford and he's setting up two booths for the After 5 Street Party next Thursday. He's asking if anyone can display a jeep flexing realy high, like a wheel on a roof of a car. Raul, are you up for it?
